New Delhi, Oct. 1 -- India's petroleum and natural gas sector has significantly transformed over the past 11 years, with LPG connections rising from 14 crore to over 33 crore.
Minister Hardeep Puri highlighted the expansion of the natural gas pipeline network from 14,000 km to over 22,500 km and India's emergence as a major refining hub. Puri inaugurated a Smart Gas Meter Manufacturing facility aimed at enhancing self-reliance in gas meter production.
