India, June 11 -- India's floating solar photovoltaic (PV) potential has been assessed at more than 102 GWp, pushing the country's total estimated solar energy potential to 3,445 GWp, according to Union Minister Pralhad Joshi. The government is preparing a dedicated scheme to boost floating solar projects, reinforcing India's clean energy transition and renewable energy expansion goals.
