New Delhi, Aug. 1 -- India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) has launched a nationwide Aadhaar-based Face Authentication facility to enhance secure and inclusive digital banking. This feature enables customers to conduct banking transactions through facial recognition, simplifying verification processes, particularly for the elderly and disabled.

R Viswesvaran, MD and CEO of IPPB, emphasized the importance of dignity in banking, asserting that this innovation ensures all customers can access services without reliance on Fingerprints or OTPs.
