India, Aug. 15 -- India and Japan held a stakeholder consultation on skilled workforce mobility to advance the Action Plan for India-Japan Human Resource Exchange and Cooperation. Convened by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), the meeting focused on preparing Indian youth for employment opportunities in Japan.

Discussions covered industry-relevant training, Japanese language and cultural preparation, recognised assessments and employer engagement. Officials from the Ministry of External Affairs, state governments and sending organisations participated alongside Japanese government and industry representatives, recruitment agents and training partners.
