India, Aug. 28 -- The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT) have signed a five-year agreement to establish an End-to-End Optical Network Test Bed at the C-DOT campus in New Delhi. Funded and supported by DoT, the facility is designed to accelerate the testing, validation and commercialisation of indigenous optical communication technologies.

The initiative aims to bridge the gap between laboratory innovation and market readiness, providing Indian startups and industry players with a real-world environment to evaluate their optical communication solutions.
