DoNER Minister Reviews 3,108 Crore NE Projects, Urges Faster Implementation
India, May 14 -- Sukanta Majumdar chaired a high-level review meeting in Shillong to assess the progress of key infrastructure and development projects across the Northeast, with a focus on execution efficiency and inter-agency coordination.
The review covered 17 major projects with a total sanctioned cost of approximately 3,108 crore, spanning multiple states including Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Sikkim, and Tripura. These projects are being monitored through the PM-Ref Portal under schemes of the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region.
