India, March 2 -- The Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation under Ministry of Jal Shakti (DDWS) has adopted the Seva Sankalp Resolution, reaffirming its commitment to citizen-first governance and last-mile service delivery in rural India.

The Resolution follows the vision articulated by the Hon'ble Prime Minister at the first Union Cabinet meeting at "Seva Teerth," emphasising governance rooted in service, accountability, and dedication to citizens. In a meeting chaired by Secretary Shri Ashok K.K. Meena on 2 March 2026, DDWS officials resolved to translate this vision into measurable outcomes on the ground.
