India, March 14 -- Commercial LPG cylinder distribution has resumed for select industries across several states, with the government confirming that no stockouts have been reported at retail outlets nationwide.
Addressing a briefing on the fuel situation, Sujata Sharma, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas said the government has allowed commercial consumers to receive LPG supplies to support operational needs.
"In some states, commercial cylinders are being directly supplied to industries," she said, a move expected to provide relief to sectors such as restaurants and hospitality.
