India, July 27 -- Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said biofuel will play a pivotal role in India's energy transition, reducing crude oil imports, boosting farmers' income, and accelerating the country's journey towards energy self-reliance through initiatives such as the Biofuel Mission and Green Hydrogen Mission.
