India, Aug. 11 -- The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved 11 appointments and a tenure extension for key Foreign and Captive Posts of the Government of India at the Deputy Secretary, Director and Joint Secretary levels. The appointments include postings to the Asian Development Bank, IMF, Indian embassies in Tokyo and Italy, Rome, ICAO in Montreal, WTO in Geneva and SAARC Secretariat in Kathmandu. The order was issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on August 5, 2026.
