India, April 6 -- The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas on Sunday said LPG supplies remain stable across the country, with over 51 lakh domestic cylinders delivered on April 4 and no reports of dry-outs at distributorships.

Digital adoption has surged, with online LPG bookings rising to 95%, while Delivery Authentication Code (DAC)-based deliveries have increased sharply to 90%, up from 53% in February, ensuring transparency and preventing diversion.

Demand for smaller cylinders continues to grow, with over 90,000 units of 5-kg LPG cylinders sold in a single day, taking total sales since March 23 to around 6.6 lakh units. These cylinders are available without address proof, improving accessibility.
