India, July 15 -- Lakhs of devotees from across the country and abroad are expected to visit Odisha's Puri city to witness the Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath on July 16 (Thursday).

Renowned playback singer Sonu Nigam (53), who had lent voice to several popular devotional songs (Bhajan) on Lord Jagannath, is one among such devotees, who has arrived in the state to participate in the annual mega event in the Holy City.

The eminent vocalist and his sister will participate in Rath Yatra, one of the biggest religious congregations in the world, for the first time.
