India, Aug. 25 -- In a tragic incident, two siblings, a 10-year-old boy and his eight-year-old sister, died following a suspected snakebite at Girijatoli village under Chandiposh police limits in Gurundia block of Sundargarh district.

The deceased have been identified as Sameer Haro (10) and his sister Sairen Haro (8).

According to reports, the siblings had dinner with their parents on Monday night and later went to sleep on a cot. At around 3 am, Sameer complained of severe stomach pain and called his father. A short while later, Sairen also complained of similar pain.
