India, June 25 -- The death toll of Odia migrant workers in the ammonia gas leak incident in Tamil Nadu has climbed to 10, after two more victims succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment on Thursday.

According to reports, Deepanjali Juang from Talaraidiha village under Banspal block died in the evening while receiving medical care. Earlier in the day, Rita Juang from Tangiri Dubanali Sahi under Telkoi police limits in Keonjhar district also passed away during treatment.

With these latest casualties, the number of deaths among workers from Odisha in the tragic incident has risen from eight to ten.
