India, July 24 -- Odisha Vigilance on Friday arrested the Revenue Inspector (RI) of Kaupada Circle in Kendrapada district for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 5,500 from a complainant to facilitate the issuance of a Record of Rights (ROR) in a mutation case

The accused has been identified as Sai Darshini Lenka. She was apprehended while allegedly demanding and accepting the bribe from an applicant in exchange for submitting a favourable report in a mutation case and facilitating the issuance of the ROR.

According to Vigilance officials, the complainant had purchased a piece of land from two joint owners several years ago and applied for mutation of the land on June 24, 2026, to obtain the ROR in his name. Despite repeated requests to ...
