India, Aug. 10 -- Success in government service should be measured by the positive impact on citizens' lives, not by a rank or designation, said Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi. Majhi made the remark while addressing new recruits at the 16th state-level 'Nijukti Mela' in Bhubaneswar.

During the 'Nijukti Mela' appointment letters were distributed to 1,326 candidates across nine departments. These included junior engineers, assistant agriculture officers, assistant professors, livestock inspectors, junior coaches, trainers, and sub-inspectors, among others.
