India, March 19 -- The Odisha government has identified the presence of valuable minerals, including diamonds and gold, in multiple districts of the state, Mines Minister Bibhuti Bhusan Jena informed the Assembly today while replying to a question.Odisha Travel Guide

According to the minister, traces of diamonds have been detected at Kalamidadar in Nuapada district. Detailed technical, economic and related feasibility studies are currently in progress to assess the viability of extraction.
