Police raid khaja godowns in Odisha's Puri over quality complaints
India, Sept. 17 -- Police on Thursday morning conducted raids at several khaja godowns and manufacturing units in different parts of Odisha's Puri town following repeated complaints that devotees were being sold substandard and adulterated khaja at high prices.Travel Guides & Travelogues
Food Safety Department and Weights and Measures Department were also a part of the raids.
The teams conducted searches at several khaja godowns and factories in areas including Sri Krishna Cinema Lane, Bada Danda, Swargadwar and nearby localities.
