India, March 21 -- In a disturbing incident highlighting alleged negligence, an Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC) driver died in a road accident, with family members accusing the co-driver and officials of abandoning him instead of taking him for medical treatment.Tourist Destinations

The deceased has been identified as Pramod Kumar Mohapatra, a resident of Baideshwar in Banki area of Cuttack district. The accident reportedly took place late Friday night near Midnapore in West Bengal.

Left on road after accident According to allegations by the family, Mohapatra was not rushed to a hospital after the accident. Instead, he was allegedly left on the roadside in a critical condition, which may have led to his death.
