India, July 29 -- In a major initiative to improve financial literacy and enhance employability among students, the Odisha Higher Education Department has decided to introduce the NSE BFSI Skill Programme in universities and colleges across the state. Under the programme, students will receive free training in the stock market, mutual funds, insurance, banking and financial transactions.Geographic Reference

In the first phase, the scheme will be launched in 97 selected colleges and universities located within a 100-km radius of major cities including Bhubaneswar, Berhampur, Bhadrak, Dhenkanal, Jeypore, Kendrapara, Keonjhar, Rourkela and Sambalpur.
