India, Sept. 5 -- Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Saturday said the state has become the first in the country to provide free education from kindergarten to postgraduate level, while reiterating the government's commitment to fill 45,000 teacher vacancies within the next three years.

Addressing a Teachers' Day celebration at the Secondary Board High School in Kataka (formerly Cuttack), Majhi interacted with students and urged them to focus on their studies and career development instead of spending excessive time on social media.
