India, Sept. 1 -- During the ongoing Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI)'s probe into the Odisha Police Sub-Inspector (SI) recruitment examination scam, senior IPS officer and former Odisha Police Recruitment Board (OPRB) Chairman Sushant Kumar Nath has come under the scanner of the central investigating agency.

Nath, a 1993-batch Odisha cadre IPS officer, was serving as the OPRB Chairman when the examination for recruitment to SI and equivalent posts was scheduled for October 5 and 6, 2025.

The CBI is examining the entire recruitment process, including the roles of the examination-conducting agency, the OPRB and other individuals and entities associated with the examination.
