India, Aug. 4 -- The Odisha Police has issued a strict directive prohibiting its personnel from charging private electric vehicles using electricity supplied to office buildings. The department has also ordered a crackdown on unauthorised power connections from office premises to residential quarters and barracks, citing misuse of government electricity and rising power consumption.Civil Society News
