India, July 7 -- In a bid to promote research and innovation, the Odisha Government on Tuesday invited applications for the Mukhyamantri Research Fellowship 2026-27 under the Mukhyamantri Research and Innovation Programme (MRIP).

According to a notification issued by the Higher Education Department, applications have been invited from Ph.D. scholars enrolled in state public universities. Eligible candidates can apply through the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) portal.

To be eligible for the fellowship, applicants must be permanent residents of Odisha and should have registered for their Ph.D. between April 1, 2024, and July 19, 2026, under an approved research guide.
