India, Aug. 7 -- The Odisha government has taken proactive measures to ensure smooth supply and equitable distribution of fertilizers across the state for the Kharif 2026 season.

Following the allocation of various grades of fertilizers by the Centre, adequate stock has been positioned across MARKFED, Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS), Large-sized Adivasi Multipurpose Cooperative Societies (LAMPCS), and authorized retail dealers to meet farmers' demand, said the state government in a statement on Friday.

To streamline logistics, a comprehensive monthly supply plan was formulated in active coordination with central authorities, manufacturers, and local stakeholders, said an official.
