Odisha Farmer Turns Mango Cultivation Into Profitable Venture
India, May 28 -- Pramod Purohit of Panchara village under Kutra block in Odisha's Sundargarh district has carved out a new identity for himself through mango cultivation. With hard work and determination, he has developed a thriving mango orchard named 'Trupti Orchard Farm House' on nearly three acres of land.
What began five years ago as a small farming initiative has now grown into a profitable agricultural enterprise. The orchard currently has around 300 mango trees, including popular varieties such as Bombay Pink, Neelam, Kesar, Langra, Dasheri and Amrapali. Due to the high market demand for these varieties, Purohit has been earning substantial profits from the venture.
