India, April 28 -- Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Tuesday paid tribute to Madhusudan Das on his 178th birth anniversary, describing him as a symbol of Odia identity, self-respect and determination.Odisha Tourism Guide
The Chief Minister attended a special programme organised at the Keonjhar District Collector's office, where he offered floral tributes to the statue of Madhusudan Das. Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, MP Ananta Nayak and Telkoi MLA Fakir Mohan Naik were also present on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister hailed Madhusudan Das as the chief architect of a separate Odisha state and called upon people to build a prosperous Odisha by 2036 by following his ideals.
