India, June 25 -- The Odisha government on Thursday announced the winners of the 35th Odisha State Film Awards for 2023 and the 36th Odisha State Film Awards for 2024, recognizing outstanding contributions to Odia cinema across a wide range of categories.

The prestigious awards will be presented at a special ceremony scheduled to be held at the State Convention Centre in Bhubaneswar at 5 pm on Friday.

For the 35th Odisha State Film Awards (2023), veteran filmmaker Shyamalendu Bhattacharya has been selected for the coveted Mohan Sundar Deb Goswami Puraskar for his lifetime contribution to Odia cinema.
