India, Sept. 24 -- The Indian Railways will operate two pairs of additional special trains on important routes to facilitate comfortable journey of passengers and clear the extra rush during the upcoming festive season, said the East Coast Railway (ECoR) on Thursday.

The railways will operate the additional special trains between Puri and Santragachi, and Khurda Road and Shalimar during the upcoming Durga Puja and Diwali, added the ECoR.
