India, March 25 -- SCB Medical College and Hospital's new Superintendent Dr. Jyotish Chandra Choudhury, who recently took charge, has stressed that strengthening fire safety systems will be one of his top priorities. Dr Choudhury who was serving as the Head of the Forensic Medicine and Toxicology department at SCB Medical College and Hospital, took over from Dr. Gautam Satpathy, who came under intense scrutiny in the aftermath of the tragic blaze that claimed 12 lives.
