India, June 27 -- The authorities of Khallikote Unitary University in Odisha's Ganjam district have asked the staff and students to avoid using personal vehicles inside the campus once a week as part of an initiative to make the varsity premises emission-free.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Asima Sahu has issued a directive in this regard. "The staff and students of Khallikote Unitary University are advised to avoid using personal vehicles on the campus once a week as part of an initiative to keep the varsity premises pollution-free and conserve fuel in the wake of the global energy crisis," said the directive.
