India, Aug. 20 -- A goods truck carrying around 29 tonnes of material overturned after its driver allegedly took a wrong route while following Google Maps in Niali tehsil of Odisha's Kataka district.Odisha Travel Guide

The incident took place near Gandakul under Pokharigaon panchayat. The truck was travelling from Pratapnagari to Juanga. However, while relying on Google Maps, the driver reportedly took a wrong route and drove the heavy vehicle along the embankment of the Balikuda canal.

The truck subsequently overturned and fell into a paddy field. The driver had a narrow escape in the accident.
