India, Aug. 6 -- The Odisha government will adopt advanced technologies to enhance disaster preparedness and response. This was revealed by Revenue & Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari on Thursday.

"In view of changing weather patterns and climate change, the state government is committed to strengthening disaster management infrastructure through the adoption of state-of-the-art technologies," said Pujari at a high-level review meeting on recent flood situation in the state.
