India, March 29 -- BJD Rajya Sabha MP Sasmit Patra has resigned from the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Communications and IT in protest against alleged disrespectful remarks against former Odisha Chief Minister Biju Patnaik by BJP parliamentarian Nishikant Dubey.
