India, March 24 -- A minor boy died allegedly due to medical negligence and wrong injection at the Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar city.
The incident sparked tension on premises of the state-run hospital on Tuesday.
According to reports, the 11-year-old Sai of Kalupada village in Tangi area reportedly fell from his bicycle on Monday morning, following which he complained of illness. His family initially admitted him to a nearby hospital for treatment. As his condition deteriorated, the family shifted him to Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar for advanced care.
However, he died while undergoing treatment at the state-run facility.
