India, Aug. 18 -- In a heartwarming gesture during the ongoing flood situation in Bhograi block of Odisha's Baleshwar district, the Block Development Officer (BDO) cooked and served food to flood-affected people at a cyclone shelter.

The Bhograi area has been experiencing continuous rainfall for nearly two weeks due to a low-pressure system. Rising water levels in the Subarnarekha River have also inundated several low-lying areas. As a result, hundreds of families have been unable to cook and have taken shelter at cyclone shelters.
