Union Home Minister Amit Shah has been designated as the Central Observer, while Mohan Charan Majhi, the Chief Minister of Odisha, will serve as the Central Co-Observer.
The new West Bengal CM will be sworn in on 9th May. The Legislature Party meeting is expected to be held shortly, where elected MLAs will choose their leader under the supervision of the appointed observers.
