India, March 31 -- The Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) on Tuesday signed an agreement with Surbana Jurong to prepare a comprehensive master plan for the proposed Bhubaneswar New City, marking a significant step toward planned urban expansion.
800-acre New City planned across three mouzas
The project will cover nearly 800 acres across the mouzas of Gothapatna, Malipada, and Daspur, and is being conceptualised as a multi-economic growth zone aligned with Odisha's long-term vision, "Vikshit Odisha 2036."
