India, Sept. 21 -- During the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the Electoral Roll, 2026 in Odisha a total of 20,57,334 electors were deleted from the Draft Electoral Roll, informed Chief Electoral Officer of Odisha, R. Santana Gopalan today.

Of the total deletions, 20,707 were made against Form-7 applications received during the revision process. Form-7 is the statutory form used to file objections to the inclusion of a name in the electoral roll or to seek deletion of an existing entry.

As of September 21, 2026, the total number of electors in Odisha stands at 3,16,32,754, representing a net addition of 2,45,720 electors from the draft roll. The electorate comprises 1,61,30,319 male and 1,54,99,661 female voters, Gopalan said.
