India, Aug. 1 -- The state Cabinet, headed by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, today approved altogether 11 proposals of six departments in Odisha.

The Cabinet approved a proposal of the Department of Finance to amend the Odisha Goods and Services Tax (OGST) Act, 2017 as part of an effort to align it with the Central Goods and Services (CGST) Act, 2017, amended vide Finance Act, 2026.

A proposal for the extension of Popularization of Agriculture Implements, Equipment and Diesel Pump Sets scheme of the Agriculture Department for five years till 2030-31 financial year, said Chief Secretary Anu Garg while briefing the media after the Cabinet meet.
