India, April 9 -- The Japanese weakened against other major currencies in the European session on Thursday, as oil prices have increased following a conditional ceasefire agreement between the United States and Iran.
Benchmark Brent crude prices traded up more than 3 percent at $98.15 a barrel after a 13 percent plunge in the previous session.
