India, March 18 -- Initial signs from the U.S. Futures Index suggest that Wall Street might open moderately up on Wednesday. Amid rising uncertainty in the Middle East conflict, the oil prices fell sharply, the dollar softened, while gold is trending down below $5000.

Investors are looking ahead for the U.S. Federal Reserve's interest-rate decision later today. Fed Chair Jerome Powell's remarks on inflation, employment and growth will be of much interest to investors.

Asian shares finished higher, while European shares are trading mostly up.

As of 7.35 am ET, the Dow futures were adding 141.00 points, the S&P 500 futures were up 18.75 points and the Nasdaq 100 futures were gaining 104.50 points.
