India, Aug. 21 -- The UK service sector grew at the fastest pace in six months in August, offsetting a slowdown in manufacturing output, flash purchasing managers' survey data from S&P Global showed Friday.
The flash services Purchasing Managers' Index advanced unexpectedly to 52.8 from 52.1 in the previous month.
The score was seen at 51.8. The reading suggested that the services activity grew the most since February.
