India, Oct. 23 -- Stocks moved mostly lower in early trading on Friday, extending the sell-off seen over the course of the previous session. Selling pressure has waned over the course of the session, however, with the major averages climbing well off their lows of the session.
The tech-heavy Nasdaq has shown a notable turnaround, bouncing into positive territory after hitting its lowest intraday level in over a month. Currently, the Nasdaq is up 60.80 points or 0.2 percent at 26,069.65.
