India, Sept. 10 -- A report released by the National Association of Realtors on Thursday showed an extended slump by existing home sales in the U.S. in the month of August.
NAR said existing home sales dove by 2.0 percent to an annual rate of 3.98 million in August after tumbling by 1.7 percent to an annual rate of 4.06 million in July. Economists had expected existing home sales to plunge by 2.2 percent to an annual rate of 3.97 million.
