India, Aug. 12 -- The U.S. dollar climbed against the pound and the franc in the New York session on Tuesday.
The greenback climbed to 1.3492 against the pound.
The greenback climbed to a 4-day high of 0.8120 against the franc.
The currency is seen finding resistance around 1.30 against the pound and 0.83 against the franc.
