India, Aug. 17 -- President Donald Trump has announced that the United States will "substantially reduce" joint military exercises with its key regional ally in Asia Pacific, South Korea.
In a social media post on Sunday, Trump cited his "very good relationship" with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and Seoul's lack of interest in joining U.S. military operations against Iran.
"Based on my very good relationship with Kim Jong Un, of North Korea, I am not happy with the fact that the United States has, long ago, agreed to participate in Joint Military Exercises with South Korea," he wrote on Truth Social.
