The Germany-based commercial vehicle manufacturer said that this increase, along with a 4 percent rise in the second quarter, raised sales for the first nine months of 2026 to 230,400 vehicles, up 3 percent from the same period last year.
Scania Vehicles & Services recorded 3 percent growth in the third quarter. MAN Truck & Bus reported a 1 percent decline in the third quarter, as positive truck sales were offset by lower bus and van sales. However, its unit sales for the first nine months rose 5 percent.
