India, June 20 -- The Living End frontman Chris Cheney has sold his publishing catalog to BMG, his global publisher since 2016. BMG has been The Living End's global label since 2018.

"One of the great joys of being a musician is songwriting," Cheney said in a statement. "The magical feeling you get from the process of creating something from nothing! Songs can take weeks to write, or they can appear in minutes seemingly out of nowhere. They are the most wonderful, mysterious, powerful things!"

The songwriter/guitarist added that he's "thankful and very honoured" to have secured a deal with BMG, who "share the same passion and enthusiasm" for music, The Living End and his solo catalogue, as he does.
