India, Aug. 1 -- UMG and Apple Corps Ltd. have announced an expanded, remixed reissue of Rubber Soul, The Beatles' landmark sixth studio album, originally released in 1965. The new special edition will be released on October 2 via Apple Corps Ltd., Capitol, and UMe.
The album not only includes new Stereo and Dolby Atmos mixes of the album, but also new, high-quality remixes of Rubber Soul, music remixed from the original 1965 master tapes, and 24 early session recordings - including 20 previously unreleased alternate takes and three previously unreleased home demos.
The set also includes early recordings of "Day Tripper" and "We Can Work It Out" and a previously unheard John Lennon song outline for "Little Girl."
